(I Am Who I Meet™)
I Am Who I Meet’s branding strategy hinged heavily on the logo design and its concept. I Am Who I Meet is a personal acknowledgment site. The site works on the notion that we are who we are because of the experiences we have and the people we meet along the way. The site is a vehicle for those who would like to thank or acknowledge those in their life by writing and submitting stories about how these people made an impact.
The logo needed to speak to this concept, so I layered in several visual metaphors. The two hands displayed in two different shades of blue coming together represents people meeting. The hands also form the shape of an eye, which plays on the “I’s” in the name of the site. This also plays to the notion that our eyes are the windows to our soul. Finally, in the top down view of the logo you see the hands coming together to shape the outline of a person where the white space of the eyeball becomes the shoulders and the pupil is the top of the head.
